The Mitten Children's Museum inspires curiosity, promotes play-based learning and provides the backdrop for lessons that last a lifetime. MakerSpace
Put on your thinking caps and check out our inspiring challenges, games and kits. Build, create and invent to your heart's content.
Vroom Room
Kids can put on a mechanic jumpsuit and give the car a quick tuneup, race matchbox cars and build with tools.
Outdoors In
Become a naturalist and study the birds, put on a puppet show, compare your feet with animal tracks & more.

Please note that our current space is not fully accessible for those in wheelchairs or with mobility limitations. We do offer kits that replicate many of the second-floor activities. Please inquire at the front desk.
